    • Sports (especially lacrosse) take a lot of time and dedication if you wish to master them. Whether your kid wants to continue playing through high school or even try to make that next step to play college, now is the prime time to start developing the skills and knowledge required to excel at that next level. In high school I played for Jamie Munro, the previous coach of Division 1 lacrosse program and reigning national champion Denver University from 1998-2009. I took individual lessons from Jamie and moved into college to play for Adams State University and Colorado State University.
    • I've been doing coaching camps for almost 6 years and I’ve developed a very strategic development program for youth lacrosse players. As many of you might notice, Canadian’s dominate the game of lacrosse (indoor and outdoor) because they develop skills in box lacrosse that give them great stick handling skills and unmatched experience when operating in tight spaces. This is why I teach the Box Hybrid system. This system has a few core elements:
      • (1) Developing lacrosse IQ. This comes from several sources but the most important is learning that you have an impact from anywhere on the field. Whether that be making off ball cuts or working the dodge, players will learn how to become play makers on the field.
      • (2) Team-based pressure defense. This creates a defender that thinks proactively meaning the player will know what to do on and off ball. This goes far beyond what can be taught in practice because it helps players become leaders on the defense.
      • (3) Motion offense. Players will learn more than how to implement plays, they will truly learn “how to play.” This may seem trivial, but it is the building block for creating players who can excel on the offense. As mentioned with developing lacrosse IQ this will create offensive play makers.
    • So, for further practice and experience I'm going to be offering individual lessons to kids who wish to improve their skills and lacrosse IQ. These lessons will be an hour each for 15$ and time's are negotiable for whatever works best for you guys and the kids. Also, for parents, kids, or coaches who wish to send their whole defense or offense (or even siblings/friends) to these lessons: prices will be 25$ for groups of 2-3 players and 35$ for groups larger than 3. If you decide to put in this extra time to development, I can promise you will see a drastic difference in your kids playing ability.
